The Medelser Lodge (SAC)
This mountain lodge of the Swiss Alpine Club sits in a saddle with a breathtaking east-west views. The large panoramic windows in the new dining room turn sunsets into close encounters. Washrooms, showers and toilets are located inside the cabin. The caretakers cook with fresh produce and predominantly organic ingredients. Their cake buffet is legendary. Up there, far from urban light pollution, the stars twinkle in their full glory.
